If you have recently moved into a new home, please contact your resident school district’s special education representative to find out more information on how to enroll your student in special education.
Student Registration and Enrollment Process
The student registration and enrollment process is different for each resident school district. Parents or guardians are required to first register their student by contacting their resident school district. A.E.R.O. Special Education Cooperative cannot register and enroll a new student directly or privately. We accept student referrals from a resident school district. You must contact your resident school district’s special education representative and they will be able to assist you with enrolling and referring your student for special education programs and services.
The easiest way to locate your resident school district is by searching your home address using the two links below to see if you are within our serving school district boundaries. After you locate your resident school district, you will need to contact your resident school district about enrolling your student in special education.
If your student is in grades EC-8, search elementary school districts. If your student is in grades 9-12, search high school districts.
If your student is already enrolled in one of our programs, please complete the annual permission forms by selecting the link below. You are also required to register with your resident school district for each school year. Both steps must be completed before your student can start school.
