Essential Start of School Year Information for AERO Parents

We hope you are having a wonderful summer! As we prepare for the upcoming school year, please take note of the following important reminders:

Student Registration: If you haven’t already, please register your student(s) with your HOME District for the 2024-2025 School Year. Students cannot start at A.E.R.O. until they are registered and active with their Home District.

AERO Annual Permissions Form: Complete the AERO Annual Permissions Form BEFORE AUGUST 1ST.

Physical and Dental Paperwork: If applicable to your student’s grade year, please update physical, dental, and immunization paperwork. For more information, click the link to our memo.

First Day of School: The first day of school is August 19th.

Welcome to the A.E.R.O. Special Education Cooperative

A.E.R.O. is a low incidence special education cooperative located in Burbank, Illinois.

Since 1963 A.E.R.O. has provided special education programming and an array of related services to students with disabilities residing in the eleven member school districts. The eleven member districts have joined together to maximize their resources and provide a full continuum of special education services.

We provide a safe and nurturing learning environment and are committed to promoting inclusive efforts to maximize the success of students. A.E.R.O. encourages the involvement of students with disabilities as active members in the classroom, school, and community.
